Personal branding project for a premium cider producer. The goal is to create a brand identity for M. Koppitch that showcases their ciders as an artisan product through the brand’s intentional approach in cider making.
M. Koppitch is a cider producer who aims to showcase cider in a way that allows customers to view cider beyond just as a fermented-apple beverage, but as a beverage that is ultimately a distillation of the expressions of select-grown apples and the cider maker's representation of the terroir.
Every apple variety has its own characteristics and nuances that end up in the every bottle.
These label abstractions are created from the natural colors and textures of distinct apple varieties, showcasing the beautiful differences and nuances between each varietal.
While most considers inconsistencies as flaws, M. Koppitch celebrates and values the unpredictability and inconsistency of nature.

M. Koppitch sees himself as a cider producer whose focus is to purely express the characters of distinct apples varietals.
A simple type-based mark is therefore created as ways to not only represent the brand and its philosophy, but also as a way to sign-off each and every bottle produced.
